Machine Learning Engineer

That's you

You're passionate about machine learning and want to use intelligent systems productively – not just build prototypes. You'll be responsible for the stable operation of the models on our SaaS platform. You enjoy working in a data-driven environment, making sound technical decisions, and collaborating with Research and Product to further develop our AI features.

• Optimization and co-development of machine learning models up to product maturity
• Integration of ML components into our SaaS platform in close collaboration with backend and frontend developers.
• Work on AI-powered features based on modern approaches such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of productive ML systems

This is what you bring with you

• Completed university degree (University of Applied Sciences / University / ETH) in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in the field of machine learning
• Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with common ML frameworks
• Understanding of software engineering best practices (versioning, testing, CI/CD)
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Proactive, solution-oriented personality with high drive and the ability to tackle things independently.
• Fluent German and/or English skills
• Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship or a valid work permit for Switzerland

• Experience with NLP and modern transformer architectures
• Practical experience with LLMs (fine-tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation)
• Knowledge of MLOps (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with the deployment of ML models in production SaaS environments
• Publications, open-source contributions, or relevant side projects in the ML field
• Additional language skills besides German and English
