Professor and Head of Studies for the BSc Industrial Artificial Intelligence

Your tasks

• They will assume overall responsibility for the new Bachelor's degree program in Industrial AI, including strategic, operational, and financial management of the program.
• They help shape the curriculum from the very beginning and are responsible for its continuous development and quality assurance.
• They take on teaching roles in the degree program and contribute to the practical training of the students.
• They will be responsible for interface management with study administration, marketing, and other internal departments.
• They are involved in recruiting new students and represent the degree program internally and externally.
• They work closely with the lecturers and assume a central intermediary role towards the students.
• They acquire and manage application-oriented research and development projects with industry partners and universities both domestically and internationally.
• They are building a sustainable network with industry partners and other relevant stakeholders.

Your qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical or scientific field; doctorate or proven scientific achievements are an advantage.
• Several years of experience in the development and application of artificial intelligence in an industrial environment, specifically in linking AI with industrial processes, products and systems.
• Extensive knowledge of modern AI methods and their industrial applications
• Experience in acquiring and managing research and development projects, as well as in building sustainable networks with industry and university partners.
• Ideally, experience in university teaching as well as sound knowledge of university didactics with high motivation and a pronounced flair for teaching.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
