Job Description

You will work 80-100% in Zug and partly remotely for 6 months.

V-ZUG CIO Office

In the CIO office of V-ZUG AG, we build and operate our company-wide AI platform, V-Assist. We transform business processes into agent-based workflows, "agentifying" and automating recurring processes across the entire company. As an intern, you will work directly with the Head of AI and support the platform's development at the interface between business and technical departments. You will gain insights into a productive enterprise AI landscape on Azure and take on your own visible projects from the very beginning.

This is what the position offers you

  • You analyze business processes from the specialist departments and transform them into structured skills and agent-based workflows for V-Assist.
  • In discussions with the specialist departments, you gather requirements and translate them into technically feasible concepts that support the development of new functions.
  • You will contribute to the creation and testing of skills and agents – including prompt engineering, evaluation and quality assurance – and thus help to continuously improve the platform.
  • You carefully maintain and curate the knowledge base (RAG) and help to measurably improve the quality of answers.
  • In day-to-day operations, you support the team through monitoring, analysis, and minor LLMOps tasks, thus ensuring smooth operations.
  • You document solutions clearly and comprehensibly, so that they remain understandable for the team and serve as a basis for further steps.

This is what you bring to the job

  • You are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, (Applied) AI or a related field, and therefore possess the necessary professional foundation for your work in the team.
  • You are driven by a genuine interest in GenAI and LLMs, and you enjoy delving deeply into new topics and continuously expanding your knowledge.
  • You possess strong analytical and structured thinking skills, enabling you to clearly model technical processes and translate them into precise technical requirements.
  • In your interactions with the specialist departments, you impress with your strong communication skills, ask the right questions, and can precisely define requirements.
  • Prior experience with Azure, Python, APIs, RAG or Prompt Engineering is advantageous – however, it is not mandatory, as we will support you in developing these skills.
  • You have excellent German skills and good English skills, thus creating a solid basis for collaboration in an interdisciplinary environment.
