You will assume overall responsibility for our AI & Machine Learning area – strategically, operationally, and financially.

Specifically, this means:
  • Further development of the business – with a clear focus on market success and profitability (break-even 2027)
  • Acquisition of third-party contracts and the development of new customer relationships (in the Swiss Army, VBS, authorities & public security sector)
  • Successfully positioning our services in the market and generating real added value for our customers.
  • Leading a young, ambitious team and inspiring your team and people with your vision for the cause
  • In summary: you ensure that we deliver: on time, quality and budget.

This is what you bring with you

  • Successful track record in building business areas or services (ideally in the tech/AI environment)
  • Experience in acquiring customer projects and building revenue
  • You are not an administrator, but a doer with an entrepreneurial mindset, and you find it easy to make the right decisions and set the right priorities.
  • Ability to balance innovation and economic reality
  • Leadership experience: as a supervisor and as a person, you are honest, motivating, clear, and provide support.
  • A good understanding of AI / Machine Learning (you don't need to be a data scientist, but you need to know what it's about)
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Nice to have: a reliable network in the Swiss public/defense environment (VBS, army, authorities, etc.)
