Tasks

  • You are responsible for the information- and data-driven management of key value creation areas along the procurement market, processes, and sales market. You prepare relevant data, analyses, and models in such a way that key areas for action become visible and well-founded decisions can be supported.
  • You create ad-hoc analyses, reports and KPI dashboards and continuously develop them to provide transparency regarding sales, flow of goods, promotions, procurement, processes and performance.
  • You analyze and validate data, identify patterns, deviations and optimization potential, and translate these into understandable decision-making criteria for departments and management.
  • You support the prioritization and management of measures by using data and models to show where action is needed and what impact possible measures can have.
  • You work interdisciplinarily on projects, clarify requirements with the specialist departments, coordinate analytical tasks and present results in a target group-oriented and action-oriented manner.

Requirements

  • You have a completed degree or comparable training in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration/Economics or a related field.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy structuring, analyzing, and presenting economic issues in a data-driven and understandable way.
  • You have a solid foundation in data analysis, data validation, and quantitative methods. Prior experience with Python, SQL, BI tools, or similar analytical applications is advantageous.
  • You are interested in business processes, procurement and sales markets, and how data- and model-based insights can contribute to better decisions.
  • You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner, set priorities and move confidently between daily business, ad-hoc requests and project tasks.
  • You are team-oriented, have strong communication skills, and can present analytical results in a way that is appropriate for the target audience, understandable, and action-oriented.
  • You have very good German skills and good English skills. French or Italian are an advantage.
