AI Application Consultant (m/w/d)

inPositiv AG , founded in 2020, is the consulting company within the cogify group. We support companies and organizations with AI and technology projects, solution design, and the implementation of transformations.

inPositiv is looking for an AI Solution Consultant who understands business requirements and translates them into actionable technical solutions.

As an AI Solution Consultant, you work at the interface between business, technology, and delivery.

You understand the challenges our customers face, analyze processes and requirements, and recognize where AI and automation can create concrete added value.

You combine consulting expertise with technical understanding - from the first workshop through requirements and solution design to prototyping and implementation together with our engineering teams.

• Analyze business processes and identify relevant use cases for AI, automation, and digital solutions.
• Conducting workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design meetings with customers.
• Identify, question, and structure professional and technical requirements
• Translating requirements into solution designs, user stories, backlogs, and high-level architectures
• Design and implement AI solutions and prototypes using LLMs, RAGs, AI agents, APIs, data flows, and backend logic.
• Evaluate suitable AI models, tools, and technical approaches for specific use cases.
• Work closely with AI, software and DevOps engineers and support solutions through to production.
• Test and validate solutions together with users and customer teams.
• Supporting customers in the introduction, further development and optimization of solutions
• Building trusting customer relationships and identifying potential for further cooperation

• Experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, Solution Consultant, Technical Consultant or in a comparable role
• Solid technical background in software engineering, backend or application development, or system integration.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience in requirements engineering
• A good understanding of APIs, data flows, backend systems, and software architectures.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear and technically feasible solutions
• Confident demeanor in workshops and direct customer contact
• Interest in modern AI technologies and enjoyment in trying out new approaches in practice.
• Experience in a consulting environment or in customer-oriented projects is an advantage.
• Very good German and good English
• French is a plus

• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, AI Automation and Evaluation
• Experience in developing AI prototypes or AI applications
• Knowledge of Python, TypeScript or similar technologies
• Experience with AI-supported development environments and modern AI tools
• Knowledge of cloud, API and integration architectures
• Understanding of AI governance, data protection, information security, or data sovereignty
• Experience with agile delivery methods such as Scrum, SAFe or Design Thinking
• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field

You work directly with customers on specific challenges and remain involved even when an idea becomes a technical solution.

This role combines consulting, requirements engineering, solution design, and hands-on AI . At the same time, you will work closely with the engineering teams of the cogify group and can independently shape topics and customer relationships.
