We are opening a Cybersecurity Consultant – Vulnerability Management & Hardening position to strengthen a team responsible for the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure security posture. The role encompasses vulnerability management, optimization of security tools, monitoring of hardening programs, and support for technical teams in their remediation efforts.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability management activities and participate in the evolution of risk prioritization methods.
- Evaluate and optimize scoring mechanisms based on technical data from Qualys as well as business criticality levels.
- Measure the impact of scoring adjustments on remediation plans and treatment priorities.
- Ensure the monitoring and improvement of the deployment of scanning and detection solutions, particularly in Windows, Linux and associated infrastructure environments.
- Contribute to improving the coverage of authenticated and unauthenticated scans, as well as to resolving authentication issues with security tools.
- Supervise compliance campaigns based on CIS frameworks, coordinate remediation actions and support technical managers in reducing gaps.
- Proven experience in vulnerability management and continuous improvement of information systems security posture.
- Proficiency in vulnerability management solutions, ideally Qualys , as well as associated remediation processes.
- Good understanding of Windows, Linux/RedHat environments and enterprise infrastructure architectures.
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, including CIS benchmarks .
- Experience in monitoring ITSM integrations and workflows, particularly around ServiceNow .
- Strong skills in risk analysis, vulnerability prioritization and management of remediation plans.
- In-depth knowledge of the challenges of securing Active Directory and associated hardening mechanisms.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling interaction with diverse technical teams and effective coordination of security actions.
