You analyze requirements from areas such as finance or integrated business planning (IBP) and translate them into reporting and analysis solutions. Together with stakeholders, you guide data and BI projects from definition to implementation.
You will develop and optimize data models, SQL views, and data flows in Microsoft Fabric (Warehouse, Lakehouse, Dataflows).
You will create and maintain modern reporting solutions in Power BI, including semantic models, Power Query, and DAX.
You will be responsible for the independent conception and implementation of BI initiatives and will actively contribute to the further development of our reporting and analytics landscape.
You support the expansion of BI governance, reporting standards, and a future-proof "AI-ready" BI platform.
in a controlling environment or a comparable environment
Business informatics, data science, business administration, or a similar field of study
Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators, ideally in the areas of Supply Chain Operations (SCO) or Finance.
Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable BI and analytics solutions.
Practical experience in the Microsoft Fabric environment, especially with Warehouse, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, PowerBI, Microsoft Power Automate and SAP.
Good to very good knowledge of SQL as well as in the development and optimization of data models and SQL views.
Excellent knowledge of Power BI and experience in the development of semantic models, Power Query and DAX.
Experience in collaborating with specialist departments and decision-makers.
Structured and independent working style in the implementation of BI and data projects.
Interest in BI standards, data quality, governance, and modern analytics platforms.
Understanding the requirements of an AI-ready data and reporting landscape.
