Within the BI team, you'll develop sustainable reporting and analytics solutions at the intersection of supply chain, finance, planning, and using Fabric and Power BI.

What you move

core task

You analyze requirements from areas such as finance or integrated business planning (IBP) and translate them into reporting and analysis solutions. Together with stakeholders, you guide data and BI projects from definition to implementation.

core task

You will develop and optimize data models, SQL views, and data flows in Microsoft Fabric (Warehouse, Lakehouse, Dataflows).

core task

You will create and maintain modern reporting solutions in Power BI, including semantic models, Power Query, and DAX.

core task

You will be responsible for the independent conception and implementation of BI initiatives and will actively contribute to the further development of our reporting and analytics landscape.

Side tasks

You support the expansion of BI governance, reporting standards, and a future-proof "AI-ready" BI platform.

What you bring

at least 3 years

in a controlling environment or a comparable environment

Completed studies (University/ETH, University of Applied Sciences, Higher Technical College)

Business informatics, data science, business administration, or a similar field of study

German (fluent in negotiations)

French (advantageous)

Mandatory

Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators, ideally in the areas of Supply Chain Operations (SCO) or Finance.

Ability to translate business requirements into sustainable BI and analytics solutions.

Practical experience in the Microsoft Fabric environment, especially with Warehouse, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, PowerBI, Microsoft Power Automate and SAP.

Recruitment process

Pre-selection of applications (FFB Group)
We continuously review incoming applications, create a pre-selection, and then submit these to the hiring manager for review. The decision regarding whether a candidate will proceed or be eliminated from the recruitment process will be communicated by phone or email.
Meeting with HR & specialist department (FFB Group)
The interview will be conducted virtually or in person with the responsible person from HR and/or the relevant department. Its primary purpose is to learn more about the candidate's personal and professional skills, and it gives both sides the opportunity to assess the cultural fit within the company and team.
Expert discussion with case presentation
Specific expertise is assessed using a case study or other assessment tools. After completing the task, the results are presented to the supervisor and subsequently discussed. The team is usually also represented at the presentation. The discussions are generally conducted by the supervisor without an HR representative. Timeframe for feedback: Up to three weeks.
Offer & Contract Issuance (FFB-Group)
Following our verbal job offer, the most important contract points will be verified again. Once agreed upon, the contract will be commissioned and sent by mail.
