Data is more than just numbers to you. You want to understand how a company functions, what questions the various departments are grappling with, and how data can be transformed into concrete insights and actionable recommendations. You are fluent in the language of both business departments and technical teams, and you can formulate requirements precisely and comprehensibly.

In our Data Analytics team, you'll work at the interface between business departments and data engineering. You'll identify data-driven use cases, analyze data, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and independently or as part of a team develop meaningful dashboards, reports, and analyses based on these requirements.

  • Establish and continuously maintain very close collaboration with specialist departments in order to identify data potential, pain points and optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze and deeply understand business processes in our transport and logistics areas
  • Identify and evaluate use cases for machine learning, AI and business intelligence – always with a focus on the concrete added value for the company.
  • Providing decision-makers and operational units with meaningful visualizations and KPIs
  • Creation and further development of dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools
  • Close collaboration with our data engineers to provide the optimal data basis for analyses and dashboards.
  • Actively shape and promote the data science maturity level within the company
Requirements profile
  • Completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable education or training.
  • Excellent communication skills – you can speak just as clearly with specialist departments as with data scientists and developers.
  • Experience in requirements engineering or business analysis
  • Affinity for and understanding of data, AI/ML and their practical application in a business context
  • Experience in creating dashboards, reports, and KPI cockpits on analytics and BI platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data queries
  • Structured work style, high level of personal responsibility and enjoyment of collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
