Job Description

In the Strategy, Risk & Analytics department of Zürcher Kantonalbank, we are responsible for the bank-wide AI strategy and its effective implementation. In this role, you are not a traditional business analyst, but rather assume a central steering, translation, and enablement function for AI topics within our bank's change initiatives.
Do you want to do more than just think about artificial intelligence from a technical perspective; do you want to translate it into real business value? Do you understand business needs, technological possibilities, and risk-related limitations, and thrive in the role of translator between business departments and IT? Then you've come to the right place.
Your tasks
  • Identification and structuring of AI and GenAI potentials at a cross-cutting level, which are translated into concrete, actionable use cases together with decentralized business engineers and PMs.
  • Acting as a professional sparring partner and enabler for decentralized ART teams, supporting the conception, evaluation and prioritization of AI initiatives
  • Responsibility for the overall technical quality of AI use cases, business cases and KPIs, as well as ensuring a consistent methodology.
  • Supporting evaluations, prototyping and proof of value in close collaboration with AI, data and cloud engineering teams.
  • A central interface between strategy, business, IT and data, to create transparency, coordination and clear decision-making criteria.
  • Developing best practices, standards and enablement formats to sustainably strengthen AI competence and implementation quality in the ARTs
Your profile
  • Several years of experience in a strategic business analysis, product or data role, ideally with overarching responsibility and a strong interface function.
  • A deep understanding of AI and GenAI concepts, combined with the ability to translate these into business value – without primarily being a developer oneself.
  • Proven experience in requirements management, structuring complex problems, and stakeholder management.
  • Enjoyment of cross-functional, coordinating and moderating work in complex organizational structures
  • Clear, confident and target group-oriented communication on equal terms with business, IT and management stakeholders.
  • Very good German and English skills
our range
  • A role that gives you the opportunity to independently advance your topics
  • We invest heavily in our employees and offer corresponding training opportunities.
  • Your work-life balance is important to us, and we also want to support you in your part-time career as a parent.
  • Attractive overall package with interesting additional benefits and employee discounts (sports, leisure, childcare, health insurance)
  • Access to internal and external networks and mentoring programs (e.g. our Talent Community, Queers & Peers, Fondsfrauen membership, "Mensch" network and others)
  • Your colleagues and stakeholders are all in the same building, working from home, or in the building across the street – without any time difference.
