For a long-term project with our client in Zurich (remote work only possible within Switzerland), we are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - GenAI Platform.

Your tasks

• Configuration and management of Azure cloud resources such as APIM, AI-Search, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence and Azure Foundry using Terraform

• Infrastructure-as-Code: Automation of build, test, and release processes for GenAI applications within the framework of LLMOps

• Contributing to the creation of architectural blueprints and technical standards for the interaction of databases, ML models and applications.

• Implementation of monitoring and alerting mechanisms using Grafana and Azure Dashboard to ensure stability and efficiency

• Ensuring a consistent and scalable infrastructure while adhering to IT security and compliance guidelines.

• Application of authentication and authorization procedures using Azure EntraID, RBAC and OAuth concepts

• Monitoring of system performance, uptime, and logs for early problem detection and resolution.

• Ensuring the seamless integration of technical components while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Mandatory requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer, ideally in the financial sector

• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform for configuring and managing cloud resources.

• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, especially APIM, AI-Search, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, Azure Foundry, AKS and Azure Functions

• Expertise in the automation of build, test and release processes in the context of GenAI applications (LLMOps)

• Extensive knowledge of GenAI technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI

• Confident handling of DevOps toolchains, including Git, GitLab, and Docker

• Highly skilled in implementing monitoring and alerting mechanisms using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Dashboard and Azure Monitor

• Knowledge of software development with Python and/or Java

• Ability to create architectural blueprints and to represent technical standards in relation to IT security and domain architecture.

• Open personality with a quick grasp of concepts

• Fluent German skills (C2) and good English skills (B2)

Desired requirements

• Basic knowledge of how to use Kubernetes

• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization procedures using Azure EntraID, RBAC and OAuth concepts

• Knowledge of monitoring system performance, uptime, and protocols for proactive early fault detection
