Teamlead Business Intelligence (80-100%)

As Team Lead Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for building, developing, and operating our business intelligence structures. Together with your team, you will ensure that all relevant KPIs from e-commerce and logistics are accurately measured, displayed in dashboards, analyzed, and translated into concrete recommendations for action. Furthermore, you will be responsible for our pricing strategy, digitizing processes, anticipating trends and market developments, and driving strategic projects that will sustainably advance the company. Your challenge

  • Responsibility for the further development of the BI and reporting landscape as well as for the professional competence of the organization in the use of analysis tools and simple evaluations. Analysis and interpretation of business data (sales, shopping cart, return rate, inventory turnover, delivery performance, etc.) and derivation of concrete recommendations for action.
  • Management and support of cross-departmental projects and sub-projects on data-based issues
  • Leadership, coaching and development of a small team
  • Participation and increasing responsibility in strategic projects: market analyses, growth initiatives, make-or-buy decisions and similar projects.
  • Responsibility for pricing: Development and implementation of a competitive, digitized pricing strategy, as well as action planning and sales strategy.
  • Standardization and automation of data flows and reporting processes for greater efficiency and scalability
  • Actively driving the development of AI and automation solutions in the area of ​​data preparation and analysis. Establishing and maintaining a uniform understanding of data within the company (definitions, methods, data quality)

What is important to us

  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Controlling, ideally in an e-commerce or trading company.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to process complex data in an understandable way and draw clear conclusions for different stakeholders.
    Solid knowledge of common BI and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) as well as a solid foundation in statistics and quantitative data analysis.
  • A good understanding of e-commerce KPIs and processes, ideally complemented by experience in pricing.
  • A passion for data-driven decisions, combined with the drive to question the status quo and actively promote improvements.
  • Strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and the ability to successfully lead cross-functional collaborations and projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Structured, independent work style with high self-motivation and the ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations.
  • Experience in employee management and the conviction that good leadership primarily means empowering and developing people.
