Who we are looking for

We are seeking data-driven software architects with experience in large-scale databases, cloud solutions, and data processing pipelines for the design, development, and operation of modern software solutions with AI components.
These demanding roles require a university degree in computer science, proven professional experience, fluency in German and English (both written and spoken), flexibility, commitment, and an interest in working with clients and colleagues.

What to expect

• Together with our machine learning engineers, you will develop complex data processing pipelines in the cloud or on-premises.
• You design, implement and scale solutions for automated data processing (ETL, Cleaning, Aggregation, Deduplication)
• You will be responsible for data-driven consulting mandates.
• You will be responsible for the content of technological topics.
• Continuous learning and ongoing professional development, as well as insights into the various industries of our clients.
• Variety and exciting collaboration in internal project teams as well as on-site at our customers' locations

What you should bring

• Experience with Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Hadoop
• Several years of experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with microservices and lambda architectures
• Good knowledge of virtualization and deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Experience in using cloud services for persisting and processing large amounts of data (AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure)
• Excellent software engineering skills in Python and Java
• Several years of experience with data modeling and ETL processes, especially in combination with NoSQL systems
• Excellent communication skills
