Job Description

As an AI Solution Architect, you will be part of the newly established AI Hub within Group IT and actively shape the AI ​​future of the SFS Group. You will evaluate and develop innovative use cases, design suitable solution architectures, and support their implementation together with business, IT, and data teams.
You will ensure a scalable, secure, and efficient AI system landscape, promote knowledge transfer, and drive the technical development of the AI ​​Hub. In doing so, you will ensure that AI applications are operated responsibly, transparently, and in compliance with regulations.

Your tasks

  • Evaluation of AI and GenAI use cases regarding technical feasibility, data availability and integration potential, as well as advice on prioritization.
  • Conception and documentation of end-to-end architectures (models, APIs, data flows, security aspects, MLOps/LLMOps) in collaboration with the respective specialist departments.
  • Technical support from Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to scaling
  • Sparring and development of reusable AI components, services and platform building blocks for future use cases
  • Selection and integration of suitable AI technologies, cloud services and frameworks
  • Active participation in shaping the technical direction of the AI ​​Hub

Your profile

  • Several years of professional experience in IT architecture, data science, machine learning or software engineering
  • Solid knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure, AWS or GCP), API design and MLOps/LLMOps
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), vector databases and generative AI frameworks
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way and translate them into business benefits.
  • Strong communication skills, enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration, and enthusiasm for innovation
  • Structured, solution-oriented work style and high personal responsibility in a rapidly evolving environment
