Senior Analytics Engineer - AI Solutions (m/w/d)

Main tasks

  • End-to-End Ownership: From idea to production – you scale complex use cases, integrate them into our business processes, and take the technical lead in important projects.
  • Setup & Operation: Contributing to the design of our new analytics platform from the ground up, including secure and stable operation.
  • Senior Advisory: Providing expert advice to data scientists in the supervisory areas and working closely with other ICT teams to translate complex requirements into future-proof technical solutions.
  • Governance: Definition and establishment of governance guidelines for the use of the analytics platform and other modern AI tools
  • Engineering Excellence: Ensuring the quality and reliability of data products through the use of CI/CD, robust data pipelines, and MLOps practices.
  • Sharing knowledge: Participation and active exchange in our internal communities Analytics Circle and Innovation Lab – through active collaboration, technical mentoring, documentation and the establishment of good practices.

Profile

  • At least 5 years of solid professional experience in a comparable position with a focus on Data Science / Data Engineering
  • Relevant university or university of applied sciences degree or comparable education and training
  • Extensive project experience with Python and SQL; additional languages ​​are a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML), Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Practical experience in training and integrating AI models, as well as sound knowledge in the field of Generative AI (LLMs, RAG architectures, Prompt Engineering)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues in an appropriate manner and to navigate safely in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent German skills (C2), good English skills (B2), French skills an advantage
