Student trainee in Data Analytics 40–80%
Asga is one of the largest independent community pension funds in Switzerland with assets under management of over CHF 35 billion.
To support our investment department, we are looking for a student to assist us with data analysis and the automation of evaluations.
This position includes the following main tasks:
- Assistance with the preparation and analysis of financial and market data
- Support in creating regular reports and dashboards
- Automation of recurring evaluations and processes with Python and Power Automate
- Support in maintaining and ensuring the quality of our data holdings
Your profile
Her profile looks like this:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at a university of applied sciences or university in business informatics, data science, mathematics, statistics, economics or a related field.
- First practical experience with Python (e.g. pandas) from studies, projects or internships
- Interest in data analysis and visualization; knowledge of Power BI and experience with AI tools
- Interest in financial markets and investment topics. Prior knowledge is welcome, but not required.
- Careful, independent work ethic and enjoyment of learning
- Good English skills, both spoken and written.
This position is aimed at a team-oriented individual who is keen to take responsibility for their own projects within a small team. Working hours can be flexibly combined with studies, and a higher workload is possible during quieter semester periods.
