Exciting tasks await:

  • They play a key role in shaping the areas of data governance and open data, and together with internal stakeholders, they are building a vibrant data community.
  • They shape the further development of the Administrative Data Unit and act as deputies for the management in daily operations, committees, and joint projects.
  • They assume content responsibility for the cantonal data catalog and support the departments in recording and continuously updating their metadata.
  • Together with specialist and IT partners, they ensure a stable, future-oriented operation of the required IT infrastructure.

What you should bring:

  • You have several years of experience in a data-driven environment (e.g., data governance, data modeling, or open data), ideally in the public sector.
  • They think strategically, implement pragmatically, and reliably bring projects across the finish line together with different stakeholders.
  • They work independently, show a high level of initiative and have a confident demeanor.
  • They communicate clearly, understandably, openly and in a manner appropriate to the target audience, both in writing and orally, and can make complex data topics tangible for a wide variety of target groups.
  • They hold a master's degree in a relevant field – such as data, digitization, information management or administrative sciences.
