Senior Software Engineer & Solution Architect, 80-100%

We are further developing our central system landscape for the educational organization. At its core is our proprietary Student Information System based on Angular, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Azure – including interfaces to CRM, ERP, LMS, and analytics. We are seeking an experienced individual who combines software development, business acumen, and system design, starting October 1, 2026 , or by agreement. You will implement solutions independently and as part of a team, provide technical leadership, and create structures that facilitate knowledge sharing, documentation, and long-term maintainability.

Your tasks:

• Further development of our Student Information System and its associated applications
• Design and implementation of robust solutions using Angular, FastAPI (Async, Pydantic, Routing), PostgreSQL and Azure
• Development of APIs, integrations and data flows between SIS, CRM, ERP, LMS and Analytics
• Improvement of code quality, testing, security, performance, CI/CD and operational stability
• Translation of business processes and requirements into clear technical solutions
• Definition of system boundaries, interfaces, data models and architectural decisions
• Sparring on data governance, integration architecture, and enterprise architecture
• Technical guidance through code reviews, design reviews, pairing, and common standards.

You bring the following:

• Several years of experience in professional software development, ideally in a senior or lead role.
• Excellent knowledge of modern frontend and backend development
• Good knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Good knowledge of Python, API development and relational databases
• Experience with Azure, cloud architectures and CI/CD
• Understanding of system design, integration architecture, security, and productive operation
• Ability to quickly understand complex business processes and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Clear, structured and documentation-oriented working methods
• Fluent in German (at least B2 level), English skills are an advantage.
