How you can help shape the future:

  • You will lead the measurement data management team of four employees in terms of personnel and expertise, and continuously develop the organization, processes and skills with regard to digitalization and the increasing demands in measurement.
  • With your team, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, validating, and providing measurement data from all remotely read media. This ensures high data quality and availability as the basis for billing, network operation, energy management, and new services.
  • You and your team are responsible for the smart metering system platform and, together with the ICT application team and the system suppliers, ensure reliable operation.
  • You and your team ensure that new market requirements, products and regulatory requirements can be reflected in our measurement data management systems and processes.
  • You are the central contact person for measurement data, coordinate disruptions in measurement data operation and optimize recurring processes through standardization and automation – for greater efficiency, data quality and process safety.

What you bring:

  • You have a basic technical education with further training in the field of electrical engineering/computer science at the HF/FH level.
  • You have experience in the energy industry, ideally with a focus on smart metering and a deep understanding of measurement data acquisition, preparation and processing for electricity, gas, water and heat.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of the EDM/MDM system landscape and its interaction along the meter-to-cash process chain. Furthermore, you are thoroughly familiar with the regulatory requirements in metering.
  • You think in a structured and analytical way and have a feel for the conception and optimization of system-supported processes and data flows with a focus on data quality and end-to-end process security.
  • You demonstrate a high intrinsic drive to optimize and automate recurring processes for sustainable efficiency gains.
  • You are a communicative, resilient and solution-oriented person with leadership experience.
  • You are characterized by a broad understanding of technology, a quick grasp of concepts, and methodological competence.
