About this position
Shape the future of the digital CFO function with us.
At Forvis Mazars, we combine audit, advisory, and finance expertise with modern data and technology solutions. To further expand our Digital CFO services, we are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who will lead demanding data analytics projects, develop client relationships, and, in the medium term, help establish a Switzerland-wide Center of Excellence for Data Analytics.
Your tasks
- You lead data-driven audit and advisory projects in the areas of external audit, internal audit, and forensic analytics.
- You develop analyses to identify risks, anomalies, compliance issues and process improvements, e.g. Journal Entry Testing, Revenue Analytics or Continuous Monitoring.
- You analyze financial and operational end-to-end processes, especially Purchase-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, projects and expenses.
- You design and implement modern analytics solutions, ETL processes and interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- You extract, transform and visualize ERP data, especially from SAP, and thereby support audit, advisory and digital CFO projects.
- You translate complex data into clear analytical storylines and decision-relevant insights for CFOs, finance teams and other stakeholders.
- You act as an interface between business, IT and external partners, and support the development of scalable data, governance and licensing models.
- You will take on business development activities, identify target customers, conduct customer meetings, and contribute to proposals and pitches.
- You coach younger team members and further develop methods, templates and best practices.
- In the medium term, you will drive the development of a Switzerland-wide Center of Excellence for Data Analytics, including AI use cases, service development and team expansion.
Your profile
- University degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, data analytics, accounting, audit or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in Data Analytics, Audit Analytics, Finance Transformation, Internal Audit, Forensic Analytics or Digital CFO Services.
- Excellent understanding of core financial and operational processes such as Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C) as well as project and expense processes.
- Experience with ERP data, ideally SAP, as well as with data extraction, data modeling, ETL and visualization.
- Proficient use of Power BI, Tableau or similar BI solutions; knowledge of SQL, Python, Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric or AI applications is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex data analyses into clear management insights, dashboards, and actionable recommendations. Experience in leading projects and enjoyment of direct client contact.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, business development skills and an interest in actively shaping a growing range of services.
- Excellent German and English skills; French is an advantage.
