Job Description
Zurich / Internship / hybrid
The Data Management team is the center of expertise for working with data in the field of statistics. Here, a large portion of the bank's data collections for economic analyses are maintained and managed. We design, automate, and operate efficient data pipelines for this purpose. In addition, we support specialized data analysis/data science projects and implement best practices and new technologies for end-user development and data science. You will become part of a young, dynamic team working across disciplines at the intersection of computer science and economics. The internship is for a duration of 12 months. The workplace is in a prime location in Zurich. Start date: September 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Development, optimization and operation of high-performance data pipelines (DataOps);
- Implementation of quality and performance metrics (KPIs) for datasets or data pipelines;
- Business intelligence and data visualizations in RShiny or Dash dashboards;
- Support for data users.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or studies at a university or university of applied sciences in a quantitative field;
- Scripting/programming experience in R or Python, OOP knowledge;
- Experience in data analysis / data science;
- Analytical / conceptual skills;
- Enthusiasm for technology, data and interdisciplinary teamwork;
- Good communication skills in German (fluent) or French and English.
