Do you want to actively contribute to improving data quality and sustainably strengthen the use of data within your organization? In this role, you will play a key part in the operational management and measurable improvement and further development of data quality. You will create transparency regarding the status of critical data, analyze deviations, and drive targeted improvement measures. Here's how you can get involved:

  • Defining, maintaining, and further developing entity-specific data quality KPIs for prioritized business data objects
  • Setting up and operating targeted monitoring for critical business data objects, including transparent presentation of status, trends, and improvements.
  • Analyzing quality deviations at the data object level and conducting structured root cause analyses in close collaboration with specialist departments and IT.
  • Deriving, prioritizing, coordinating and tracking data quality improvement measures, including clear responsibilities, action plans and impact measurement.
  • Methodical support for data owners and data stewards in fulfilling their quality responsibilities and implementing targeted process optimization projects with a focus on data flows, control points, and data quality.
  • Close collaboration with the data engineering team, the delivery teams, and the architecture and process excellence specialists on structural causes of quality problems.

This is what sets you apart:

  • They have a university degree (Uni/FH) in business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • They bring several years of experience in data quality, data management, BI/Analytics, reporting, data migration or a comparable role within a highly regulated industry.
  • They have a skilled command of our tech stack: Microsoft Azure, Lakehouse, Power BI, SQL and Python.
  • They are experts in the development and operation of data quality KPIs, monitoring and action management, and know what is needed for the successful analysis of data problems at the data object level.
  • They feel comfortable in a regulated environment and always act entrepreneurially, solution-oriented and responsibly within the given framework regarding data handling.
  • They are distinguished by their strong understanding of data and processes and prioritize decisions skillfully and transparently according to their impact.
  • They impress with their combination of structured, analytical and solution-oriented working methods, as well as their strong communication and cooperation skills.
