In a few words

As part of a data transformation program within a demanding industrial environment, we are looking for an Analytics Engineer/Data Analyst specializing in Looker. You will work within a data team reporting to a digital transformation department, with the objective of designing, developing, and promoting reporting and data visualization solutions.

The context includes a migration from Power BI to Looker, with a strong focus on user support, tool adoption, and skills development for business teams.

Your mission:

• Participate in the migration of reporting and data visualization practices to Looker
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards and data models tailored to business needs
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and LookML models
• Collaborating with the data team to structure and improve the reliability of analytical solutions
• To be the direct interface with business users in order to gather their needs and propose relevant solutions
• Supporting change management around Looker and contributing to user skills development
• Participate in the continuous improvement of analytics practices in a digital transformation-oriented environment.

Desired profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data, with significant and solid experience on Looker
• Excellent command of SQL
• Good command of LookML
• Experience in data analysis/analytics engineering within a reporting and data visualization context
• Good ability to communicate with business professionals and to explain technical topics in simple terms
• Excellent communication, a strong sense of service, and a partner-like approach towards users.
• Experience in a supply chain environment is preferred.
• Fluent French is essential

Differentiating skills:

• Mastering DBT
• Experience in a BI tool transformation or migration context
• Knowledge of the challenges of user adoption and change management
• Experience in an industrial or operational environment
