The Data Warehouse Services management unit develops and operates bank-wide platforms and tools for innovative analytical methods. Users in many SNB units employ these to design data-driven business processes. These analytical methods include data science techniques and machine learning. Location: Zurich.

Your tasks

  • Consulting and support for data science specialists in demanding specialist projects for data analysis and data transformation; in particular, support with technical and methodological issues;
  • Participation in the expansion, optimization and operation of tools and systems for end-user development, especially in the integration of development tools with dashboard and data science environments;
  • Identifying needs for improving end-user development tools and systems. Partial management of development projects.

Your profile

  • University degree in Computer Science (Master's) with a specialization in Data Science;
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience in data science. Experience with data science tools and environments; knowledge of relevant technologies, models, and frameworks;
  • Excellent knowledge in the field of software engineering; requirements analysis, solution design, development.
  • Experience in implementing data-driven applications with high data volumes and/or machine learning; ideally, knowledge of Python and common libraries as well as Angular, Java, Spark and Docker/Kubernetes;
  • Conceptual and systematic approach paired with a strong focus on implementation; ability to present complex issues in an understandable and target-group-oriented manner; German language skills at least at level C1;
  • Strong customer focus as well as a pronounced ability and willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with demanding tasks and to take on responsibility.
