Your contribution:
Implementation and further development of machine-readable data standards to promote interoperability in the agricultural and food sectors;
Analysis of complex data structures and implementation of semantic data harmonization;
Development of technical solutions to embed the "once-only" principle;
Coordination of collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders (cantons, private sector) regarding data exchange;
Active participation in iterative development within an agile Scrum team.
What makes you unique:
University degree (ETH/University/University of Applied Sciences) in agricultural sciences, computer science, data science, or comparable disciplines;
Practical experience in data analysis and processing (e.g., with Python or R) and preferably in using version control systems (Git and GitHub);
Experience with database queries (SQL), structured data exchange formats (XML, JSON, CSV), and conceptual data modeling, ideally in the context of semantic web technologies (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL)
; Understanding of and interest in The challenges of the Swiss agricultural and food sector.
Good knowledge of two official languages.
