Garda is looking to hire a Software Engineer Intern (Python) to be a part of our Research and Technology (R&T) team based out of our Geneva office, for Summer 2026. This is an exciting position offering opportunities to gain exposure to enterprise software development and AI-driven solutions at a global hedge fund.
Position Responsibilities
- Aid in the development of new lines of business solutions using Python, LLMs, agentic workflows
- Support senior staff in designing, implementing and supporting AI-powered tools and complete solutions for our front office/risk systems
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
- Experience programming in Python (experience with AI/ML or LLM frameworks preferred)
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about programming, AI, and emerging technologies
- Interest in financial trading industry
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time sensitive team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
