Job description
  • Further development of modern cybersecurity platforms in an agile, interdisciplinary development team
  • Co-design and technical development of in-house products in the areas of Web Application Firewall, Network Access Control and API protection solutions
  • Active participation in architectural decisions – with a focus on frontend, backend or fullstack (depending on interest and experience)
  • Use of modern technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Java, Angular, CI/CD)
  • Continuous development of expertise in security-relevant topics and tools
Requirements profile
  • Degree in Computer Science (University, University of Applied Sciences, ETH, HF) or equivalent, practical professional experience in software engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of Java (must-have), supplemented by knowledge of other programming and scripting languages.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is absolutely necessary.
  • Practical experience in agile methods, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps approaches
  • Strong communication skills in German (at least B2 level) and English (at least B2 level)
  • Ideally, knowledge of Angular (v17+), machine learning, or CNCF technologies.
  • Desirable: Certifications in the Kubernetes environment (CKA, CKAD) or experience with WAF / API gateways / reverse proxies
