We are looking for an intern – Scientific Data Engineering (m/f/d) for our location in Füllinsdorf, starting on June 1, 2026. The internship is limited until December 31, 2026.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Your tasks include:
  • Development of a database structure including a user-friendly frontend.
  • Definition and implementation of input parameters (material data, setup, environment, test objectives, results).
  • Integration of existing POC data (e.g. WCS).
  • Development of search and analysis functions for performance predictions and setup behavior.
  • Collaboration with chemists, product managers and engineers to ensure relevant and correct data.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you will need:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Chemical Engineering or a similar field.
  • Experience with database development and frontend applications.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and statistical evaluation of technical measurement data.
  • English and German language skills (minimum C1 level)
  • Understanding chemical or material-related properties is advantageous.
  • Ability to work with interdisciplinary stakeholders.
