Your role

As Team Lead BI Specialist, you will lead a small BI team (3 people in total) that supports clients in the areas of consulting, project implementation, and operations. You will actively contribute to solutions, further develop the team's technological capabilities, and shape our BI and DWH architectures for the long term.

• Technical leadership, coaching and further development of the BI team
• Active participation in customer projects: from analysis & concept to implementation & operation
• Design and development of modern BI and DWH architectures based on Microsoft technologies
• Technological development of our BI portfolio (best practices, standards, new tools)
• Consulting for our clients on BI, data architectures, integration and analytics
• Ensuring the stability, performance, and quality of the platforms
• Further development of existing solutions and smooth operation of the environments
• You combine in-depth technical knowledge with a structured, pragmatic mindset.
• You think in a solution-oriented, customer-focused and holistic way.

You bring in-depth knowledge of modern and classic Microsoft BI technologies – and a passion for combining both in a meaningful way.

Excellent knowledge of modern technologies:

• Power BI (DAX, data models, governance, end-to-end projects)
• Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, OneLake)
• SQL Server (Setup and operation of DWH, stored procedures, T-SQL, agent jobs)

Experience in classic BI components:

• SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) – Multidimensional oder Tabular
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – ETL/ELT, Package Design, Maintenance

Advantageous:

• Azure SQL / Synapse / Dataflows
• DWH-Design (Kimball, Data Vault, Star Schema)
• DevOps approaches, versioning, deployment pipelines
• Experience in consulting or project management
