We are opening a DevOps/Kubernetes Specialist position to strengthen our client's team based in Givisiez. The role involves supporting the migration and modernization of critical electronic exchange applications to an on-premises Kubernetes platform, while improving DevOps practices, deployment automation, and service reliability.
Job Responsibilities
- Design the architecture of solutions taking into account the needs of internal clients, existing standards and technical constraints.
- Create solutions based on service composition.
- Ensure the design of IS from an application perspective, information flows between applications and their documentation.
- Establish and maintain architectures taking into account performance, maintainability, scalability and security criteria.
- Ensure compliance with the technical and architectural standards defined at the domain and company level.
- Conduct architectural compliance audits and propose remediation plans.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation on the solution architecture.
- Perform reverse engineering of existing architectures to document the current state.
- Maintain the technical and application maps.
- Provide specialized technical support to development and infrastructure teams.
- Coordinate technical work with the various stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in computer science (University of Applied Sciences, Federal Institute of Technology, Master's degree, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, Kubernetes Engineer or equivalent role.
- Proven experience in migration to Kubernetes or application modernization.
- Solid mastery of Kubernetes, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience in setting up automated infrastructures and using tools such as Helm and Azure DevOps.
- Skills in implementing CI/CD pipelines and fully automating deployment processes.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring (e.g. Splunk or equivalent solutions).
- Good understanding of distributed architectures, networks (DNS, proxy, load balancing) and Linux environments.
- Ability to analyze existing architectures and propose robust and scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and meticulous attention to technical documentation.
