Graduate Programme 2026, Wealth Management COO Office
This is a unique 12-month programme based on a permanent contract within UBP’s Wealth Management COO organization, with a mandate to deliver AI-enabled process improvements across our global WM operation. As a graduate, you will tackle complex challenges by leveraging advanced (AI) technologies and
data analytics, focusing on real-world business cases that integrate GenAI and emerging technologies into front-to-back processes to enhance efficiency and quality. This multifaceted role offers opportunities in areas such as web application design, prompting, data analytics, business intelligence, and GenAI
integration. Throughout the programme, you will be mentored by the Head of WM Reporting & Dashboards, based in Zurich, and supported through rotations across internal teams to provide a 360-view. The programme offers a comprehensive learning experience, enabling you to gain valuable insights into the finance industry and develop essential skills for a successful career in private banking. While the main location is Zurich, there will be potential opportunities to work in Geneva or other international UBP locations (if suitable). The graduate programme consists of 3 to 4 rotations, each lasting either 3 or 4 months. These rotations take place within different teams closely connected to Wealth Management (e.g., IT Data & Innovation, Compliance, Investment Services, Treasury & Trading), providing an excellent opportunity to build a broad internal network of colleagues and experts. You will also benefit from shadowing experiences, gaining exposure to various aspects of the bank’s operations. This programme is designed for young graduates holding a master’s degree, with a maximum of 12 months of professional experience since graduation. After completing the programme, you will have the opportunity to transition
into a permanent role within our Wealth Management team.
Union Bancaire Privée (UBP)
Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) is one of the largest family-owned private banks in the world. But what makes UBP unique is its corporate culture, which combines modernity and tradition. Although UBP was founded in 1969, its origins can be traced back to the 17th century and the start of a long line of financiers and diplomats of whom Edgar de Picciotto and his descendants are the successors. Today, the Bank's staff draw their inspiration and drive from the founding family's subtle blend of strong moral values and pragmatism, which to this day remain the key to UBP’s success. As it plays such a major part in our strategy, we are investing significantly in Wealth Management to fuel our growth, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Asia. We provide a complete range of private banking products and services, including a variety of investment management and advisory mandates, tailored to our clients’ specific requirements, objectives, and risk profiles. Among UBP professional partners, over 300 independent asset managers have chosen us as their custodian bank, valuing our personalized, flexible services and our transparent fee structure.
