In this strategically and operationally important role, you will be part of the Digitalization and ICT Directorate and actively shape the digital development of our hospital. As AI Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for the targeted and responsible use of artificial
intelligence across clinical and administrative processes – from identifying suitable use cases and pilot projects to sustainable integration into hospital operations.

Tasks

  • Identification, structuring and prioritization of AI use cases in medicine, nursing, administration and support areas, taking into account benefits, feasibility, risks, regulatory requirements and economic viability.
  • Evaluation and ensuring the data basis for AI applications through analysis of existing data sources, flows and models, as well as close collaboration with Data & Analytics, ICT and the specialist departments.
  • Conceptualization, planning and implementation of AI pilot projects (PoC, MVP) on existing or newly developed data and analysis platforms, as well as support during the transition to operational use.
  • Contributing to the further development of data architecture, data platforms and interfaces while adhering to data protection, information security, data governance and ethical guidelines.
  • Development, maintenance and management of an AI use case and data portfolio including dependencies, roadmap, management reporting and continuous monitoring of technological developments in the AI ​​environment

Profile

  • Completed university degree (Uni/FH) in (Medical) Informatics, Data Science, Business Informatics, Digital Health or a comparable field of study
  • Experience in digitalization, transformation, AI or data-driven initiatives, ideally in healthcare, with a good understanding of the interplay between data, analytics and AI.
  • Solid knowledge of common data and analytics concepts (e.g., data platforms, BI, advanced analytics, ML lifecycle) as well as practical collaboration with data scientists, data engineers, ICT and specialist departments.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, data protection and data governance, preferably in the context of healthcare.
  • Structured, analytical and conceptual approach to work with a strong focus on implementation, as well as excellent communication and translation skills between expertise, data and technology.
