Operation and integration of military C2 and sensor systems in security-critical environments (Military Grade Security)
Setup, maintenance and continuous development of test and integration environments for internal and external stakeholders
Technical leadership of the DevOps team, including prioritization, Kanban/Jira backlog maintenance, and coordination with stakeholders.
Formulation of user stories, acceptance criteria and technical requirements
Conducting integration and functional tests, as well as managing software versions (Git)
Development of prototypes and proofs of concept (PoCs)
Automation of deployment, monitoring, and routine processes
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (Confluence)
Close collaboration with infrastructure, security and development teams, as well as coordination of interfaces and dependent projects.
Ensuring material and logistical operational readiness during troop trials and system acceptance tests
Ensuring the operation, stability and security of the systems and test environments
Professional leadership of the team and hands-on support with technical issues
Release planning, roadmap definition and risk assessment
Compliance with military security standards and cybersecurity guidelines
Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer or in a similar technical role
Excellent knowledge of system integration, automation, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), CI/CD, monitoring, and configuration.
Experience with Git, containerization and virtualization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, VMware)
Advantageous: Experience with safety-critical/military systems, IPMA Level D, HERMES VBS or Requirements Engineering V (RE-V) certification
Structured work methods, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills
Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering or similar)
Very good German skills
