Job description
The position:
You will expand and improve existing products or develop new, innovative solutions for our diverse clientele in the banking, retail, and government sectors.

Responsibilities:
- Together with the team, you will support development projects in the areas of infrastructure, tools and deployment management.
- You will perform engineering tasks to introduce new tools and technologies according to DevOps principles in the cloud or on-prem.
- You will set up operational and maintenance processes based on DevOps principles. You will manage and operate the IT infrastructure and applications, either on-premises or in the cloud.
- You advise and support your colleagues and external clients regarding tool usage and best practices. This typically covers the entire life cycle, including deployments.
- You adapt and automate internal build and deployment processes to meet project requirements.
- You foster constructive collaboration between business, IT departments, and other stakeholders. With your DevOps expertise, you help external clients with their innovations and the successful implementation of their DevOps programs.
- You will contribute to the development of the team in terms of content and personnel: expanding know-how, internal offerings and training new employees.
Qualifications
Your profile:
- University of Applied Sciences, ETH, or University degree in Computer Science
- Experience in setting up, administering and operating lifecycle, build and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- You are also comfortable using the Linux shell and administering the tools.
- Experience in the design and implementation of industry-ready scripts, the tool chain for build automation and deployment
- Experience in agile software development and/or IT operations. Knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, and ITIL is a plus.
- As an employee of an IT service provider, reliability and customer focus are second nature to you. You conduct the intensive communication in our customer projects with motivation and professionalism.
- High level of commitment and flexibility, as well as a willingness to learn new things.
- Structured and goal-oriented approach
It would be advantageous if:
- Experience in regulated industries, e.g., banking or payment processing.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
