They ensure that our business-critical platforms and services run reliably, securely, and efficiently at all times. Together with a small, experienced team, they are responsible for the operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our IT landscape – from traditional server environments to modern cloud services.

DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) 80 – 100 %

What are your responsibilities?

Cloud & Plattform Engineering

• Operation, further development and automation of our cloud and on-premises infrastructures
• Further development and optimization of Microsoft Azure services and cloud platforms
• Development and maintenance of modern deployment, automation and operational processes
• Management of technical platform components, certificates and permissions

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Automation of recurring operational tasks and IAM processes
• Implementation of minor application adjustments and technical improvements
• Optimization of operational processes, monitoring and support processes
• Development and maintenance of scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
• Continuous improvement of system stability, performance and operational quality

Collaboration & Service Management

• Close collaboration with development teams, IT operations, and external technology partners.
• Technical consulting and support for changes and releases
• Contributing to the continuous development of DevOps and operational processes

What are you bringing with you?

• Completed vocational training or university studies in the field of computer science or comparable qualification
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Good knowledge of automation, scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python), and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring and modern operational processes is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking skills and a passion for the continuous optimization of technical solutions
• Experience with scripting or software development is an advantage (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, Java).
• Readiness for on-call and support deployments
• Fluent in English
