You can achieve this

  • Contributing to the design and development of the new data platform in the Azure cloud in the logistics sector.
  • Creation of data models according to the requirements and use cases of business analytics and data science
  • Organization and structuring of data sets using various modern cloud and big data technologies
  • Connecting data sources and developing transformation and data integration processes
  • Close collaboration with other specialists in an agile environment for specific topics such as DevOps or data architecture

This is what you bring with you

  • University degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and at least 5 years of experience as a data engineer
  • Excellent experience with cloud technologies (ideally in the Azure cloud with Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Azure DevOps and Microsoft Fabric)
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, data storage and data access techniques with experience in big data architectures and integration models.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, Java or Scala and SQL
  • Good work experience with decentralized systems and proficiency in tools such as dbt, Apache Spark, Apache Flink or Apache Beam.
  • German or French and good English skills are required.
