As part of a network of 103 pharmacies, you will strengthen the BI & Data team and contribute to the development, architecture and governance of our analytical platform based on Microsoft Fabric.
In your role as Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric (m/f) 80 - 100% you are responsible for:
the conception, construction and continuous development of our modern data platform and data architecture.
The development, integration and optimization of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data from various source systems.
Ensuring high data quality through automated validations, monitoring, and data governance and data lineage concepts.
Administration and optimization of Lakehouses, SQL Analytics and storage structures with regard to performance, scalability and costs.
the definition and implementation of strategies for data integration, storage, partitioning and the entire data lifecycle.
the documentation of data flows, transformation logics and metadata, as well as the continuous maintenance and further development of the data catalog.
Ensuring data security, access concepts and efficient use of platform resources.
You have a degree in computer science, data engineering or a comparable field, or you have equivalent professional experience.
You have at least two to three years of practical experience in data engineering and are enthusiastic about modern data platforms and new technologies.
You have in-depth knowledge of PySpark/Python, SQL and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines and Dataflows) and are familiar with modern data architectures.
Ideally, you have experience in data modeling, Delta Lake, REST APIs, Git, and data governance.
Knowledge of Power BI, especially in the creation of semantic models, dashboards and reports, is a plus.
You work independently, in a structured and quality-conscious manner, and enjoy solving complex technical problems.
You communicate fluently in German and/or French. Technical English is an advantage.
