We are Veratron AG – a globally operating development and production company that has been distributing sophisticated and innovative instrumentation for all types of vehicles since 1972. Starting with speedometers and tachometers for passenger cars, and continuing with motorcycle and bicycle speedometers, sensors, control modules, and other exciting products, Veratron AG is today the center of excellence for electronic systems, focusing on the special vehicle and recreational boating markets.
In a small, dedicated team, you'll work hands-on on developing modern software solutions that are directly integrated into our production and testing facilities. Your work will have a direct impact on our manufacturing processes – from the initial concept and design to commissioning and continuous improvement of the solutions. We offer you creative freedom for your professional and creative development, short decision-making processes, and a high degree of autonomy. You'll take ownership of your projects and actively contribute to the creation and growth of our software-supported production solutions.
YOUR PLAYGROUND
- You will develop software solutions for our production and testing facilities in the field of Production Engineering.
- In your role you plan and implement projects in equipment construction, from conception to implementation (including orders) and commissioning.
- You will continuously support, maintain, and develop existing processes and software solutions – in close collaboration with production and engineering.
- You will plan electronic circuits and create and maintain electrical schematics.
- You ensure the operation and maintenance of production-related data networks and servers.
- You plan and implement small projects independently, including the assembly of printed circuit boards.
- You will be responsible for technical standards, best practices, and a sustainable transfer of know-how.
- Providing technical support and coaching to computer science students is also part of your responsibilities (approx. 20%).
YOUR PROFILE

- A basic technical education, supplemented by further training or education at the HF or FH level (depending on education and professional experience), forms your foundation.
- You bring several years of experience in software development in an industrial environment to this position.
- Solid knowledge of C programming (National Instruments CVI C) is required; experience with PLC systems, ideally Siemens S7, is a plus.
- The interplay of software, electronics and mechanics fascinates you and motivates you in your daily work.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
