YOUR TASKS
  • Development, configuration and maintenance of a group-wide data platform for merging data from clinical and administrative systems of the Hirslanden private hospital group.
  • Design, development and maintenance of data models as well as integration of data from heterogeneous source systems
  • Design and implementation of data pipelines and workflows including data integration, data preparation and data processing (streaming, EL processes)
  • Ensuring data quality in the data repositories and further developing group-wide components in close cooperation with data stewards and specialist departments.
  • Provision of reporting requirements using Metric as Code based on the data models
  • Operation and further development of the DevOps pipelines and release processes, including monitoring, alerting, and incident management for integrations and data flows.
  • Translation of stakeholder requirements into technical specifications, implementation of projects, and coordination of relevant stakeholders, including documentation and training.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, structured problem-solving abilities, and an innovative approach to new tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical content to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Completed studies (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD) in computer science, engineering or equivalent qualification as well as several years of relevant professional experience in data engineering
  • Solid programming skills in SQL, Python, Caché Object Scripts or comparable programming languages
  • Experience in the design or development of data pipelines (batch, stream, virtual) as well as in data modeling or database design or management (relational, object, NoSQL, graph)
  • Safe handling of data quality concepts, ethical standards and governance principles
  • Knowledge of feature engineering as well as technical implementation and deployment of models is advantageous.
  • Experience with InterSystems products (IRIS for Health, HealthShare, Health Insight) and/or Denodo is an advantage.
  • Experience in agile working methods
