Your tasks - Shaping the future:

  • You are responsible for implementing efficient data processing processes suitable for large datasets.
  • Your responsibilities also include the further development and operation of our central data platform, which combines a classic data warehouse with modern data lakehouse components .
  • Furthermore, you will support data scientists and data analysts in data acquisition, preparation and provision for analytical and AI applications.
  • You develop and orchestrate complex ETL pipelines and ensure their efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • You can help shape the guarantee of high standards of data quality, security and governance , as well as the development of our processes.
  • Your responsibilities will be rounded off by working in an agile team with frontend developers and specialist departments.

Your profile - A passion for sustainability:

  • Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification with demonstrable professional experience in the field of data engineering
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and sound experience in data modeling as well as in the design and creation of ETL processes.
  • Ideally, experience with data management tools and basic knowledge of batch scripting as well as Java and Python programming.
  • Experience in developing and working with NoSQL databases
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their data services) is an advantage.
  • Independent, goal-oriented and conscientious work ethic , as well as a strong problem-solving ability.
