With us, you'll develop and operate scalable platform solutions for demanding IT environments together with our engineering team.

Your role

You will work on the further development of our Kubernetes platform and support our teams in operating applications in a stable, scalable and automated way.

Typical tasks might include:

  • Setup, operation and further development of our Kubernetes platforms (preferably OpenShift)
  • Development and further development of automation and platform tools , including with Go
  • Development and maintenance of operators as well as automation of infrastructure and platform processes.
  • Creation and further development of Helm charts and Helmfile configurations for the automation of deployments.
  • Automation of repositories and deployments via GitLab CI/CD
  • Monitoring and observability with Prometheus and Grafana , as well as the creation of alerts and associated playbooks.
  • Collaboration throughout the entire lifecycle of bare-metal OpenShift environments
  • Analysis, evaluation and integration of new open-source and CNCF technologies into our platform
  • Collaboration with engineering teams for the continuous development of our platform

Examples of everyday tasks

  • Writing or revising Helm charts to automate software deployments on clusters
  • Automation of repositories via GitLab CI/CD
  • Development of Go code to abstract and optimize infrastructure processes.
  • Creation and automation of Prometheus alerts as well as maintenance of the associated playbooks.
  • Collaboration throughout the entire lifecycle of bare-metal OpenShift environments
  • Research, evaluation and integration of open-source and CNCF projects into our existing technology stack

What you can bring

What's most important is your interest in modern platform technologies and DevOps working methods.

Helpful examples include:

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, Software Engineer or Platform Engineer
  • Practical experience in building or operating Kubernetes platforms
  • Interest or experience in development with Go
  • Experience with Helm, Helmfile, Prometheus or Grafana
  • Understanding complex network structures within Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines or Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Interest in evaluating new technologies and further developing existing platforms
