apexAI (Elevate Solutions GmbH) is a Bern-based AI startup that supports Swiss SMEs in their AI transformation. We develop AI agents, automations, and customized AI software solutions for companies across a wide range of industries.

We are three founders with complementary strengths in business, engineering, and AI. Now we are looking for reinforcements: a technically skilled person who will work directly with us on customer projects, independently develop solutions, and take on responsibility.

At a glance

• Workload: 50 to 60%
• Work location: Primarily on-site in Bern, occasional remote work possible
• Duration: 6 months, temporary, with prospect of permanent employment
• Compensation: CHF 1,000 to 1,200 per month (fixed salary) plus project-based profit sharing.
• Start: Immediately or by arrangement

What you will do with us

You don't work in the background, but directly with the customer and the product:

• Co-developing AI solutions for customers: AI agents, chatbots, automations, integrations and small applications.
• Provide technical support and further development for existing customer projects.
• Supporting customer projects from technical analysis to implementation
• Building internal tools and processes that enable our growth
• Communicate directly with customers: gather requirements, present solutions, and collect feedback.
• Create SOPs and documentation to ensure knowledge stays within the team.

What you need to bring (must bring)

• Terms like IDE, Git, API, CLI, frontend, backend and deployment are everyday terms for you, not foreign words.
• Strong interest in AI, automation and their practical application
• You actively use AI tools as a work tool, not just out of curiosity.
• Self-initiative and willingness to take responsibility
• Strong communication skills: You can explain technical matters in an understandable way.
• You value results more than hours.
• Fluent German and good English

Nice to have

• Ongoing or completed training in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
• Experience with one or more of: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, Supabase, n8n, Docker
• Initial contact with LLMs, Prompt Engineering or AI APIs
• Own projects or hackathon participation
• Experience in customer contact or in collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
