Internship in Software Engineering (Full-Stack) for Cloud Native Application (m/f) 80-100%

In this internship, you will contribute to the Carbody Planner, a cloud-based application used by our customers to fully automate early planning processes in the product development, purchasing and engineering. You will support the development and enhancement of a cloud-native web application using modern frameworks and cloud services.

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining a cloud-native web application using modern frameworks and cloud technologies. You will work with ASP.NET Core to design and implement scalable HTTP APIs and develop frontend components with Angular, strengthening your full-stack skill set. You will deepen your knowledge of high-quality, performant, and scalable software systems, and gain practical exposure to application, API, and cloud architectures. This internship will equip you with industry-relevant skills and best practices used in modern, production-ready software development.

Your tasks

• Development and Enhancement of cloud-native web application using modern frameworks and cloud services
• Implementation and Maintenance of HTTP APIs with ASP.NET Core
• Development of frontend components using Angular
• Ensuring code quality, performance and scalability

Your profile

• Master's degree (or in the process of obtaining one) in computer science, data science, or engineering
• Good programming skills in Python, C++ as well as ASP.NET Core (C#), Angular
• Experience with/interest in software architecture (applications, APIs, cloud)
• Interest in databases (Entity Framework, PostgreSQL) is a plus
• Interest in AWS Cloud is a plus
• Interest in UX/UI Design is a plus
• Strong technical interest, willingness to get involved in complex technical issues
• Team Player with a strong commitment to problem solving
• Good knowledge of German required

This role is based in Zurich. The duration at 100% workload is 3-6 months. The minimum workload is 80%, extending the duration accordingly.
