Job Description
Your tasks
- The development of serial crystallography data analysis pipelines at SwissFEL and the SLS 2.0
- Assist in the development of the Xtrapol8 software suite in collaboration with Dr. Elke De Zitter, Dr. Nicolas Coquelle and Dr. Jacques-Philippe Colletier in the DYNAMOP Group at the Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS), Grenoble
- Perform pump-probe experiments at XFELs and synchrotrons with the aim of defining best practices in data collection methods
- Assist the development and maintenance of Cristallina devices and software related to SFX measurements
- Assist Cristallina users to conduct their experiments
Your profile
- PhD degree in natural sciences
- Proficiency in python and/or other coding language
- Proficiency in handling and analyzing large datasets
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience in serial macromolecular crystallography at synchrotrons and XFELs is an asset
- Experience in protein handling and crystallization is an asset
- Communication skills in French and German are an asset
