Your team

The Pictet Tech division designs, integrates and operates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division plays a pivotal role in driving some of the Group’s key innovations while ensuring the continuity of business operations.
As a member of the Cloud Engineering unit within the Platform Engineering department, you will contribute to enhancing the development experience for product teams by delivering well-designed and reliable platforms. These platforms encompass a wide range of functionalities, including observability, identity management, continuous integration and delivery, release management, and cloud capabilities.
You will be part of the Cloud DevOps team, where your role will focus on empowering developers by providing AI generative tools and laying the groundwork for a large language model (LLM) gateway. This initiative aims to facilitate the seamless integration and adoption of AI technologies within Pictet applications.

Your role

  • Developing, implementing and managing a robust platform hosted on AWS that delivers cloud-native LLM capabilities (e.g. Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock) to support development teams.
  • Collaborating with developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity and risk managers to ensure adherence to standards and provide guidance.
  • Contributing to the promotion of good practices in terms of AI-Ops on our platforms
  • Performing tasks expected of an infrastructure engineer: developing, improving and maintaining the platform. Languages used will include Go, Python, Terraform and GitHub Actions and workflows.

Your profile

  • You have 3+ years’ experience in an engineering role (e.g. software, DevOps, etc.).
  • Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and API design (Python, Java, Go, Bash or equivalent).
  • Experience with cloud systems such Azure or Amazon and infrastructure-as-code configuration.
  • Knowledge about architecture topics such as integration, security, network, identity and access management.
  • Strong curiosity and in-depth knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and other AI technologies.
  • As a plus, you have expertise in DevSecOps, Data Science or FinOps practices.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deeply curious and eager to learn technologies and skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Swiss resident or willingness to relocate.
