Position Overview Reporting to the R&D Manager, the Electronic/Software Engineer is a highly visible role within our Gastrointestinal R&D team. The Electronic/Software Engineer will contribute to the hardware and software development. Responsibilities Plan and execute hardware and software development within New Product Development and Design Change Projects (for manometry and impedance catheters). Coordination and communication between different development partners, suppliers and customers. Plan and execute hardware and software verification and validation. Create technical documentation for product compliance (ISO and FDA). Layout PCB’s (Autodesk EAGLE) and write firmware for sensor data acquisition. Maintenance and expansion of evaluation and calibration software (C#). Research on new components and technologies. Support Production with development and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Plan and accompany EMC testing in the testing laboratory. Support in IT requests if needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in electronic engineering. 3+ years of experience. Experience in the medical field is preferred. Interest in measurement and medical technology. Very good knowledge in C/C#. Flexibility and quick comprehension. Team player and used to work independently. Business fluent in German and English. Fluent verbal and written German and English skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
