As part of the optimization of operating rooms, the HUG are creating an executive directorate of operating rooms (DBO) directly attached to the Deputy Director General. This new centralized structure will be entirely dedicated to the management of operating rooms with the objective of strengthening governance, interprofessional synergies, optimization of patient care and processes, while supporting innovation and research. The operating suites comprise eight modern operating theaters equipped with state-of-the-art technology, representing nearly 42 operating rooms.
