As an AI Application Engineer, you will be part of the newly created AI Hub within Group IT and actively shape the development, implementation, and productive operation of AI applications within the SFS Group. You will develop robust, scalable LLM-based applications, ensure seamless integration into existing IT landscapes, and work closely with business, data, and cloud teams. Your work will ensure that AI solutions operate efficiently, securely, and in compliance with regulations, delivering added value to the business units.
Your tasks
Development, implementation and production deployment of LLM-based applications (end-to-end: model integration, API layer, UI/UX connection)
Design and operation of reusable components and services (Prompt engineering, chains/orchestration, vector database integration, caching, observability)
Technical implementation of PoCs and MVPs up to scaling, as well as support for the transition to productive operation...
