Your tasks

• Support in developing offerings with tailored architecture for potential customers
• Integration of Microsoft native and non-native log data sources with Microsoft Sentinel
• Development and implementation of use cases in Sentinel (using the Kusto Query Language)
• Developing SOAR Playbooks with LogicApps in Sentinel
• Supporting clients in developing the future cybersecurity strategy for their organization
• Learn how the end-to-end process for creating proposals works in a consulting firm.

Qualifications and experience

• Currently enrolled in a degree program (at least in the 5th semester) - majoring in Computer Science (IT/Cyber-Security)
• Prior professional experience and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity are advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance assessments and audits
• Knowledge and experience with SIEM tools; experience with MS Sentinel is a plus.
• Experience with identity and access management in (Azure) Active Directory is a plus.
• Experience with other Microsoft security solutions such as Defender for Endpoint is a plus. Microsoft certifications such as SC-200 and SC-900 are a plus.

• You are interested in learning about the world of technology consulting and developing skills that go beyond purely technical competencies.
• High level of self-motivation and independence, with the drive to actively develop solutions and solve challenges in a structured manner.
• Willingness to work independently with clear individual responsibility, as well as to actively and cooperatively collaborate as a team member in small and large Avanade teams in direct exchange with customers.
• Fluent German and English language skills (minimum level B2/C1)
