As a Senior Java Software Engineer at Ivy Partners , you will be responsible for:

  • To become operational quickly and contribute to the current and future development of the platform.

  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code within appropriate timeframes.

  • Demonstrate a solid technical foundation in Java and related technologies.

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers.

  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices in software development, cloud and DevOps.

  • Proactively suggest improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.

About you

  • You have more than 5 years of experience in Java development.

  • You have proven experience in backend development with Java 21, Spring, Spring Boot Data, Hibernate and JDBC.

  • You are proficient in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

  • You know how to manage SQL and database design.

  • You have excellent communication skills and can interact directly with stakeholders.

  • You have strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically and creatively.

  • You are adaptable to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
